The Europe Travel Commission of the World Tourism Organization is going to hold a sitting in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. The meeting is scheduled for April 27-28, 2010. Residential property prices in Spain fell nationally by 5.5% over the 12 months to the end of February, according to the latest real estate price index to be published. 3.8% fewer foreign tourists visited Spain in February this year, compared with the same month last year, as a result of the poor weather. 2.7 million foreigners came to holiday in Spain, but holiday companies, hotels and travel agencies all reported an increase in flight and package cancellations because of the inclement weather. According to the latest figures released by Eurostat, the Bulgarian economy is still most certainly heading downwards, but there are some signs of hope on the horizon. Eurostat figures show that Bulgarian GDP shrank a further 6.2% in the fourth quarter of last year.
